CleVR

CleVR delivers interactive custom built Virtual Reality solutions for a wide range of purposes in the (Mental) Health Care sector (such as fear of flying/heights) where the user is able to interact with the computer in a natural and intuitive way. The VR systems are based on a treatment technique called Virtual Reality Exposure Therapy (VRET). VRET is scientifically proven to be effective by the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). CleVR combines the effectiveness of exposure therapy with the accessibility of a virtual environment. CleVR is a spin-off company from this research and located in the ‘incubator’ of YES!Delft. CleVR also developed Virtual Reality solutions for the research of Psychosis and Generalized (Social) Anxiety Disorder (GAD) treatment where people are virtually exposed to several social situations. First contacts with several Mental Health Centres already took place about how VRET can be used in order to treat people with forms of Autism.
